Socialism is what many people would say is the preferred government.
Yet, many people would take the view of which Margaret Thatcher shared ...in essence, stating, that perhaps socialism appears like a great system, until you run out of other people's money.
But, if it isn't other people's money ....on the contrary, viewed as everyone's money, then that is viewed more as communism.
Communism in its purest form may seem well and good, yet name one country where it works well in the long term without eventually turning into a dictatorship.
I guess, other forms of government can turn into a dictatorship ...if a dictator is poised and crafty enough to take it over.
It would seem there would be a need for checks and balances to prevent that ...and it does appear the U.S. Constitution has provided for those safeguards, yet what would prove to be the unraveling conditions where even that would not be enough??
I would think that the problem would be when those who hold office would be so wholly unholy as to not care to do their job the way they are supposed to ...and become self-serving, to a degree.
Self-serving may appear as serving others, as long as the others also help serve you.
The question then becomes: "What serves us all?"
The answer is simple: "Jobs."
Jobs generate productivity, and productivity makes it so we are not dependent upon those who would make us less strong ...in personal character and as a nation.
With jobs, comes the consideration of who provides the jobs, and how much of the well-being they provide for the individuals who work.
When the well-being of individuals become in question, individuals unite ...and unions are formed. Yet, over time, the unions seem to often support a lack of productivity ...swinging the pendulum too far from the plumb-line of reason.
Businesses often responded by moving their production away from the out-of-control downward spiral of non-productivity ...often to the nations outside the influence of what they feel hinders and controls them. Though, sadly, the countries who have what they'd consider favorable business atmospheres, also have almost always adopted practices and conditions even worse than what alarmed those who initially formed unions in our country.
Problems ...do they benefit from problematic solutions??

When writing anything ...it is often the first step to decide who your audience is. That may seem rather elementary, but it's not.
This may all seem like an Elementary School discussion, yet, this is not what is taught to our youth for the most part.
They are instead instructed how ominous big business is ...and how responsible government can't let any of them get away with their offenses. No, we can't allow businesses to rob the poor, nor can we let them recklessly pollute.
Like a big movie production, our entertainment for the day is the flooding of New York City.
It's not just Elementary School children buying this exciting feature film ...a drama unfolding like a horror movie. Unbelievably, adults are promoting it.
What is it??
Well, it is many things ...though the feature for the day is called Climate Change. It may not seem scary, yet it is the same as what was not that long ago called Global Warming. And sitting here in Michigan, the temperature having fallen below zero last evening, certainly provides for a very scary thought. The thought of Michiganders possibly having to house New Yorkers ...how really scary can that be? They aren't as bad as some of you make them out to be, I'm sure.
Adults also promote Santa Claus, weaving a tale of hope and anticipation ...but, its our government which claims big business is naughty, while things like Pro-choice is nice.
Ironically, the government seems to be going against the very ones who supply most of the revenue it operates under. And no one likes dirty water or air, but it goes much further than that ...spending our money on saying they must halt this environmental abuse, while regulating our businesses so severely that they leave the country and go to places where there are virtually no regulations at all.
They say they are concerned with not polluting our environment, though ignore the fact that they are polluting our minds.
If you take a closer look, many of those who claim they are investing to preserve our nation ...are actually investing to destroy it.
I'm not claiming it is deliberate, nor am I saying they've already destroyed their minds ...what I'm saying, is that they are simply misdirected, or misdirecting. Okay, I'll say it ...they are wrong, if that is not too strong a word for you.
If you've already bought it, that may be a bit scary ...but, the usual course people take when they don't admit they've been had, is they get angry at any mention of it.
That is why I've chosen to use this method of discussing it ...you will have less tendency to get mad if I'm not there, presenting my point ...and my guess is that you won't scream at me when I'm not there either. And likely you may read further, than you would hear me out in person.
Though, if I'm not correct on that point ...you will never know it.
